CMT shows potential for pain relief
We investigated how choline magnesium trisalicylate (CMT) helps alleviate bone pain in patients with metastatic cancer. In a carefully designed study involving 26 participants, we compared CMT against a placebo in a crossover format, measuring pain relief at multiple intervals after dosing.

While we observed a significant reduction in pain just one hour post-treatment with CMT, other comparisons showed improvements that didn't reach statistical significance. This suggested that CMT might assist in managing bone pain, potentially complementing traditional opioids, but overall effectiveness is still under exploration.

Pamidronate therapy reduces bone pain
We evaluated the effects of pamidronate therapy on children with osteogenesis imperfecta type III. Over the course of treatment, we saw reductions in bone pain, alongside a significant decrease in fracture incidence.

The therapy positively impacted children's daily activities and their overall mobility. Importantly, the treatment was found to be safe, although some patients experienced mild side effects like low calcium levels and a fever. Overall, our findings suggest that bisphosphonate therapy is beneficial for management in these young patients.

Promising drug delivery for osteoporosis
We developed a novel drug delivery system combining denosumab and magnesium within metal-organic frameworks to target osteoarthritis. The framework showed good potential for loaded drug release, delivering about 72% of denosumab in just 8 hours.

Additionally, it released magnesium ions, which are beneficial for bone formation. Our cytotoxicity tests demonstrated that the system is biocompatible and encourages cell growth over time. While our findings are promising for pain relief linked to osteoporosis, further studies are needed to confirm effectiveness in real-world scenarios.

Pain relief success

I never felt the effect of vitamins, but these exceeded my expectations. After experiencing leg muscle cramps, I was advised by the pharmacy to take Magne B6. Within a week, my pain decreased, and after 2-3 weeks, it completely vanished. I began to sleep better, my mood improved, and people around me noticed the changes. I have no discomfort while taking these vitamins, which is unusual for me as I dislike the aftertaste associated with most. I take two tablets in the morning and two in the evening.

I tried this form for the first time to relieve calf muscle cramps and anxiety. Both succeeded brilliantly; within a week, I had forgotten about cramps and my mood stabilised. It also helped a teenage athlete with muscle pain after training.

Fatigue reduction noted

This magnesium is my favourite! A magnesium deficiency leads to fatigue, irritability, and muscle spasms. I’ve noticed that the night cramps in my big toes, which troubled me two to three times monthly, have disappeared. It has helped alleviate irritability and sleep disturbances, and I take two capsules before bed.

I have fibromyalgia syndrome and this magnesium somewhat relieved my bone pain. It's taken at night for sleep, as it causes drowsiness. I also take a different type of magnesium in the morning for activity. Thankful for the improvement in pain and mood.

Increased joint pain
I did not feel any improvement regarding sleep, muscle relaxation, or digestion. In fact, I experienced an increase in joint pain with regular use. I suspect the high magnesium levels resulted in elevated calcium levels too. I became diligent in taking potassium and increased my fruit intake, limiting daily use to a few times a week.
